help with redkong dupe

Hi all
I have 2 redkongs one is +8 the other is normal so i iwant to evolve the +8 to rexkong but im afraid it will evolve the normal redkong :confused: what should i do?

dont worry, it will upgrade the one with the highest bonus :wink:

Additionally, with the other three starters that are used as ingredients, it always kills the one with the smallest bonus.
