I delayed because I did it without spending gems and accumulating tickets, I finished it 11/16/2019 (I received some help from @Unown ;), if you’re interested, I can give you the equipment I use all the way. Except some making slight modifications.

Just use DR, auro and use a friend auro

New player question. When does Hell mode start? Is it after the main story or after the online story?

After you get through chapter 8 of the online story. Hell mode then goes through chapters 2-8. It’s like a second online story but with straight up game play and a mega boss battle at the end of each chapter.
When you finish the online story arc.
