Like take eonarx feks if he eartquake on overwatch he deals the damage first then change the turn order making the overwatch useless as they wont grant them the turn but remove the overwatch

So it will all come down to if his passive triggers before or after the entrence effect

This monster definitely needs some trying in MC because there are too many unknowns…

If the damage on the poison moves isn’t higher than normal, then all we’re really looking at is catapult for kills.

The defence buff may have an extra layer to the calculation, or it could simply reach the defence cap at around 5-8 monsters.

As for equilibrium… it’s going to be one of those high risk, high reward things where if you build your team with slow monsters then you’ll do well in a trading battle but poorly if the opponent kills Giehretus first. It’s also likely that whoever gets some momentum going will snowball into a win.

Funnily enough it’s perfect to combine with Prixis + Charybdia in the FL so you swiftly knockback/kill their FL then the entering monsters are probably far out of play and you chain things into a win.

Some quick numbers for equilibrium, assuming it works how it reads…

Normally, entrance speed for +9 monsters is as follows:
99% = 30.1s
For each -10% speed, it’s roughly +6.75s.

So to get any benefit they need to be monsters 36% speed or less. You gain massive benefit on monsters roughly 25% speed or less.

It very rapidly increases the seconds by a lot when you go into higher speeds. Becoming +50s at medium speed and +100s at high speed.

It would not be neo monsters if players stopped finding ways to subvert the original intention of a supposed counter to make the offending llaystyle even more oppressive

That’s the point of competitive PvP. Those who really want to be the best will use the strongest tactics because they’ll bring in the wins with the highest probability.
