hey I’ve just been trying to do siege the palace episode VIII and struggling to find a setup that can get through it a bit easier. Can someone look at my team and make some suggestions for changes?
I dont know the moveset of your people there but I would suggest that you start off with some heavy hitters/protect killers up front to crawl through the first three op’d walls. You have to get through them fast enough to kill the bomb spider. Then I would suggest using some time strikers mid field and start to bring in you tiamid and flare (poisoners) near the end.
You can divide the match into three phases. The first phase you need to just crawl through the walls and kill spider. Phase two use a couple time strikers and one poison and a wall to take out the heavy hitting high tu mid team. Phase three continue to pick off with poison and time strike and poison and kill emperor penguini when he hits the field.
Thank you, just managed to do it with the line up pictures. Used unwanted friend twice and knock backs until only 1 enemy, then protect focus. Then used a couple of stunning entrances and time strikes to take out dragai and penguin and mopped up the rest with poison massacre and eater.
How does unwanted friend work and how do you use it in a strategy
Unwanted friend can be used in a situation where you would normally be up against an effective team of four and instead you put a few useless monsters into their works that make the other team less effective. The down side is you will have three weak monsters on the other side that can haste the other team but it’s always nice to have four strong monsters against three or two. At least that’s the only way I’ve used it.
Basically this is my line up, first I make sure that halodrie tanks then I I used unwanted friend twice. Then I used twin knock back until 3 slots are used up with the bronze shells. Good thing about halodrie is he has accelarate team which counteracts the bronze shells haste. Then I have 2 stun entrances and 2 heals to give my team enough time to knock back and then a couple of timestrikes. Once they go down I have poison eaters and massacre. Then because I will have knocked back a tank or two I have a protection killer. Then gigarock for when things get right at the end.
It is all trial and error with what works for you but halodrie is brilliant so level it up if you can.

Only thing I would change is move halodrie and carnofrost forward. And I would put anything with time strike 2 spaces before a stun entrance and a heal all 1 space before the stun entrance. But line up looks good, envious of necrowing!!

That’s what I wanted to suggest you. Even if u’ve got enough protector killers to destroy his starting wall you could have troubles with twin death sentence or the bomb spider. I managed to do it with a few knock backs (alphagear or tiamazus, but alphagear has also got also team first, the ability to let your monsters to be first to hit) and a few unwanted friends (like oroblazer or elyseon).
If u’ve got troubles towards the end with his legendaries, something with death revenge could be useful 
P.S. I personally use poison combos, or sleep combos with shadowhunter and stormloch (which is not my first choice)
