Honestly, when you put it that way most changes you mentioned sound good for overall balance. They’re just an inconvenience for you.
How does completely destroying boost for mythics add for the overall balance. If they want to do 500hp which won’t matter in 90% of the examples, then they can remove boost for myths at all. It will be the same thing at this point.
I will repeat myself, I do agree that legends and super epics could get more from a boost, I just disagree with making it completely worthless for the myths.
I love the fact leggies are SEs can be boosted. Not that I have anything boosted ![]()
Completely destroying would mean scrapping it completely. How have you come up with that as not even a full day has passed? Have you been running simulations all day or what?
For sure 500 hp can make a difference…
It’s far from completely worthless, there are just some cases where the monster will still get one-shot. I need to take more time to decide what I want HP boosted, but I think I am going to keep things like Bastia and Momo boosted because having extra HP on tanky monsters I use a lot is going to be helpful. It’s definitely way more appealing to boost a few of the SEs or maybe the classic Rockoid or a Meatoid.
Honestly, I think overall this has made a huge number of monsters great targets for HP boost. Boosting them will make them hang with mythics better, which is good for the long run where otherwise PvP will be crowded with awakened mythics (we’re heading there quickly). Mythics still get a benefit and it gives them more HP than other rarities can achieve. However, it’s only going to be worth doing on the best mythics, then you’re better off making lower rarities boosted unless you plan on just running all mythics in your teams.
He does like using mostly all mythics in his teams (nothing wrong with that! It’s fun from time to time), so I see his point.
Most all of his points lately are summed up as: “I use the strongest things I can make, don’t change them. Also don’t change the things I don’t use.”
In his defense he admitted that the Lilithia buff was too strong.
Yeah tbh I’d say each to their own for sharing their opinion, as long as they’re not arguing lots with others or saying rude things to the Devs. I’m glad we’ve got at least one person voicing how mythic HP boost got nerfed here. It’s a fair point to be frustrated about this.
Soral is the sadest of them all now. Triple nerf at the anniversary and now the babies come with +500HP rather than +1000HP. Soral is so mediocre
Lmfao someone cried out loud here
Valid point! That one was very obvious
Agreed! I actually agree with the sentiment, I just want to see it conveyed well ![]()
Count me in KD. I’m actually the first.
I’m crying rn, btw.
He is, he should at least have the 1 TU SS ![]()
Just saying it cause I’m playing concurrently and that 25 TU is a headache
nvm 3 things we agree on i think baby conversion can stand at 85 but ss could be instant ngl
That’s actually different topics.
This is weird asf
what’s happening
because mythics are absurdly powerful and don’t need more power. I am extremely happy with the change. Now no one can stop my dreadmoth from transforming ![]()
A deadweight tank in a meta or 80% of fls are composed of a monster having RTK and can facilitate 2vs4. it’s not really a good idea
@Killerdog I think the main issue with the hp boost changes is that SEs get x4 the boost as mythics. Don’t get me wrong, it makes perfect sense for SEs to benefit more but this is just too much. SEs now get over a 60% hp increase while mythics get a ~10% increase lol. I feel like it would make more sense if we had something like +750 for mythics, +1000 for legendaries, and +1250/1500 for SEs.
@Coltraz I agree with most of what you said but it really did sound rather whiny ![]()
