Regarding your thoughts on how well you think the game’s going, I think we can all agree that it’s an impressive feat for Neo Monsters to last this long. Which is why I have an idea that I’m sure would be a smashing success; when the 5th anniversary comes around, the players get gifted the option to pick ANY legendary monster they want, limited or not.
However, I know that such an idea could spiral out of control quickly, so I’ve written up a list of legends that you CANNOT choose with this deal.

Legends that can be obtained for free (Noxdragon, Chronozeros, Pupupa, etc)
-
Legends that are locked behind the ticket shop (Flocculasaurus, Dusicyon, Goldtail, etc)
-
Shiny Legendary monsters
-
Any legends that will make their first appearance in the 5th Anniversary/Halloween eggs

Mythic monsters (for obvious reasons)
This may seem a little too generous to some people, but considering how the 5th anniversary is a hallmark occasion, I don’t see anything wrong with getting spoiled a little. Besides, if the players are happy with the free monster they got, then they’ll be more than willing to spend money on some gems, making it a win-win situation for both parties. I’m more than willing to hear your thoughts on my proposal.

I like this idea . I would gladly pick a monster that I’ve most wanted and suppress the urge to blame neo rates .
There has been already a slightly better version of that idea, an anniversary ticket shop.
Where they feature the most desirable legendaries. The tickets you could obtain trough various ways f.e. after each 10 packs you get 1 of them to exchange for a legendary in the shop.
This would both incentives people to spend and give us something amazing in return.

No idea, I can assure you that I am not.
Ya know, awakened myths are so damn hard to come by… how about instead they pass out 3 mythic shards? That way you can propel a single 2nd form mythic straight into awakened form, on the obvious condition that you have it already. Just having that one 7 star option available could go a long way to help empower the people who don’t spend nearly enough to get stuff awakened. People always have the chance for that one egg to hand them a valuable legend, but 4 1% eggs all giving the same monster? Good luck. This could truly bring a new and fresh experience to the pvp battlefield(more than a stronger presence of centaur or gazer, at least), and having 1 awakened may incentivize some people to try and get more.

Everyone would just choose suikenshi or bastia because those are the most op
But there’s the condition that they have to own the 2nd form already… I guarantee you not a whole heck of a lot meet that condition. Besides, other mythics have plenty to offer too… Harley, yd ddraig, gorgo, aether, etc. are quite good in their own right.

@Lucrayzor The main reason I excluded mythic monsters is that I didn’t want to come across as too greedy. I get what your saying, but your idea seems a little too generous.
Frick (sorry for the bas word) mythic monsters, I wish they used the anniversary to completely revolutionize the online PvE. Like, introduce some super cool events that include Boss Battles, new game mechanics, perhaps even events that take place on a map.
I’d 100% take new content over handing out monsters to everyone

I suppose they’ve never really needed an occasion to commemorate that sort of content… but if it can make enough of an impact I can maybe see it happening.

I love that idea, because many people don’t have the chance of awakening them, people would have big changes. The weak players would be stronger, the medium players would be stronger and the strong players would be EVEN STRONGER. I would like to awake Harleking. (Forgive me, dear Azida)

This idea has already been brought up twice before on the forum. I tried to come up with a better way of doing it, rather than simply anything of our choosing or a “free” awakened mythic. I think it’s better if the idea rewards spending as well as not giving access to literally anything because we’d see a lot of people grab something they’d potentially spend for in the future. E.g. It would be horrible facing down Angelion/Bastia/Suikenshi in almost every battle for months afterwards.
Here was the idea I posted just 27 days ago…
- There is a “special anniversary egg” which you can only do 10-packs in and it’s for 40 free gems or 20 paid gems.
- The egg pool is every mythic and every legendary (1% mythic, 4% legendary).
- 5th pack you get a guaranteed mythic, 10th pack you get a 7* anniversary ticket.
- 1st-4th pack and 6th-9th pack you get an 6* anniversary ticket (8 in total).
- Max total packs allowed = 10 (egg disappears after this).
- There is a section of the shop with every mythic available for 1x 7* anniversary ticket.
- There is a section of the shop with a collection of legendaries available, ranging in price from 2-6x 6* anniversary tickets (2 are standard egg pool, 4 are less desirable, 6 are the best).
Hence, you can spend up to 400 gems (200 paid gems) for 2 mythics (one of your choosing) and, realistically, 1-2 legendaries from the selection… on top of anything you hatch in the packs. Bear in mind this is alongside the normal Anniversary and Halloween eggs.
Again, might seem a bit on the generous side but exact numbers could be adjusted and, most importantly, I think this would make a huge amount of money for the Devs. Personally I think it’s great when the anniversary can be used as a time for us to get great deals that we have to put our gems/money into rather than simply free giveaways. Last year we got the guaranteed mythic egg and it was cheaper with paid gems but since we were given more than enough gems for free I think it was a missed opportunity.
This special anniversary egg idea would definitely get people spending and people would also be going for the Anniversary and Halloween eggs too so they’d be dropping a lot into the game to make the most of the deals. There could even be a 2x gem sale twice in the period to help people afford it (1 per week for 2 weeks).
