It’s happened to me about 5 or 6 times now and quite randomly, on both the opponent’s team and my team(when it happens to my opponent I’m quite happy, but 4/5 times it’s me), I can’t figure out the conditions to cause this bug. It could even be lag that causes it to occur.
After executing an action, the game will “pause” so to speak, where screen will continue doing the “breathing” motions of the monsters, but all battle progress will stop.
Damage numbers usually happen prior, but any “recoil” damage doesn’t get calculated during the “pause” until after the pause is done, it usually takes about 15-20 seconds for the pause to end, after which the last monster to act will find themselves with a 300+ second wait time. All of these times no stun revenge related abilities were involved in the monsters, just fyi.
The one time this happened on the opponent team, I was able to see part of a single target stun animation which showed up on the affected enemy as the pause ended.
