Can you share your team @Killerdog or some advise please ![]()
Haha I’m a few hours late sharing, was out playing sport. Did my final couple of battles while walking there.
I missed a bunch of tickets on the first day, didn’t realise there were new rewards and then not sure if I wanted to commit to grinding. Luckily I always just about had a good enough team to keep a high win rate as the buff level increased.
This is what I ended up with. Last draft I got Exocross so only used it for two battles. Before that I had the second Skeleviathan in the team behind Tortogeist.
The MvPs were Ammityrant, Wraithcaptain and Celestiarchion. Dameule was also brilliant in some battles.
Celestiarchion is incredibly good, probably the best standalone legendary for what it does to support a team. It repeatedly stubs the enemies, which massively enables things like Wraithcaptain. It duplicates itself so you make there be two at any one time then use the stun control and give turn to do things with your other monsters. You can also do void killing with it, but that becomes harder once the buff gets big.
Wraithcaptain isn’t one I usually have in my UC team but morphean bomb does 75k damage so it one-shot until very nearly lvl 600! Also bypasses various revenges. It needs support to really perform well. Celestiarchion did that for me in this team, also Auro/Neph to make copies at the back gives you a great end-game.
In terms of strategy, it’s honestly just a case of picking the monsters which are good against super buffed enemies. I can’t list them all, but intend to add a section to the tier list for that. As you pick them up, you try to figure out a sensible way to position them. For example, I have Ammityrant after passive monsters, protectors around Auro/Neph, something in the FL that can do a targeted kill (Carmilla heart burst) to remove a problem enemy and Brynhildr is away from the revive monsters plus right after some high value monsters I might want to revive with her.
Early on you can pick some things which work well when there isn’t an insane buff. I got 2x Tenebris, which alongside Aurodragon made the battles very easy for roughly levels 250-350. I also had Jeanne d’Arc, who was insanely strong for tanking everything and getting void kills through the earlier levels. She was very funny alongside Aurodragon.
I would not recommend going too crazy with the redrafts. My strategy with them was to only redraft if none of the monsters would be useful for my team. As soon as one was semi-useful then I took it. I think I still have about 10-15 redrafts at the end now. The one exception is if your current team is struggling at buff level you’re at or will be struggling very soon and you need something to improve the team. Try to save your redrafts for those moments I reckon. I didn’t actually want the Nephthys, because I already had Aurodragon and the team is only 12 monsters. However, I thought it’s good enough I would probably need to redraft a bunch to get something better.
That has to be my favorite icon in the game ever
Unfortunately , it does not give any icons as rewards . I just posted it as it was the easiest mission I’ve ever played
