I don’t understand the benefits of the unwanted friend skill and similar (the one that puts jackboxes in the opponents team). When a opponent does that to me it actually helps me last longer and with the accelerate team skill too that helps.

What if the boxes or bronzeshells were to be stunned, you’d now have 3 monsters that can do something and 1 monster that can’t.
They’re purpose is to disrupt the enemy’s team and to set the enemy back.
They’re very effective in terms of annoying your opponent…That skill always mess up my strategies.
You mean 3 that can’t and 1 that can?
They have always added more to my team than hindered.
1 that can’t, usually the boxes and bronzeshells are spread across your team and not added next in line, but it is possible for them to be very close together.
Strategies can evolve. Plus you can still utilise the same strategy just with a slight gap in it.
Also, with many enemy teams you have no clue what you’re up against so strategies only work for some enemies (and if they do the same pattern of attacks every time).
Well they seem to always appear in succession. Either way 1 monster stunned isn’t much of a hassle compared to more than 1. They die easily too.
Unwanted monsters are used to feed buff skills (eg. Bloodfury/thrist/crave etc etc etc)
Get it?
When you get farther into the game and strategies get more intricate, your team tends to rely a lot more on certain monsters getting their fat lards onto the field so that they can do their thing like they’re supposed to. But if there’s a shell in the way, your strategy can end up in serious danger. It could stop your absorber from coming on the field before a shocking legend shows up, or hold your Searguard back just long enough for the enemy to get their TT off, just to name a few examples. On top of that the shells are vulnerable to stun, which can severely expose you to some merciless combos. Plus the enemy can use them for free kills right before the shell dies, making their previously target lacking Robinator or Chromera ready to start rampaging on you. Accelerate team is a tiny compensation, especially since usually your time is far better spent flipping their health to get them out of your team ASAP. Honestly I think you’re getting a little too accustomed to the ai. They have no idea that they’re not supposed to attack the shells, and they don’t know how to build around that disadvantage. But shells in the hands of an experienced player can singlehandedly shatter your entire team. Believe me, I know.
Same with boxes. I beat acheron once only because I got explosive quartet off. It is that big of a gamechanger.
Explosive quartet is nearly broken. It can be dealt with, but only at a huge cost(between 1-6 monsters).
Hey Zard, how about a battle between you and Ruziko, show him how disruptive unwanted friends is.
Knock back and unwanted friends become some of the best moves in the game later on
you’re yet to have your bronzeshells stunned to almost 1000 seconds that’s when you realise the power that move can have
Or sleep lock them, and incase they wake up, no worry they cant harm u…
he knows what’s up
we don’t talk about that lochi
i suppose he has mostly epics in his team, so it means opponent needs to hit 3 times more in order to defeat him if no AOE is used
I would be happy to battle ruziko.
E.g: Motordragon… When it enters the battlefield, it triggers Unwanted Entrance, which gives you 2 bronzeshells… When you think you will dominate the battle, it kicks your 2 monsters with double repulse… Boom, your strategy is ruined… After it kills your 2 shells, it will dominate the battle with bloodthirst…
Unwanted Friends will do similarly with that condition…
Actualy, the worst is when he Doesn’t kill the shells and stuns them instead. Meaning you have to fight with 2 monsters for the rest of the game.
I’d rather face a charged motordragon than have 2 stunned shells on the field
