Your method works but only if and only the assisted splash hits the water monster, and not the auto protect, it’s basically luck they have made this one really stupid as u can’t beat it any other way
There are several ways to do it. Try the easiest one by yourself and you’ll be more proud of you 
3rd Challenge of count lector can be done without the need to hit the water monster…u can finish it even if the enemy hit the fire monster…important thing is to cast heal all at the right time…and use robinator at the rite time towards the end…xD
works fine, had to finish it with robinator in an other way at the end.

For the first one
First let all the the monsters die
Then one of your monsters will use death revenge
Then use tombwolf (I think that The name), and use zealous attack on the one monster that has 1 hp
The use sacrifice reanimate
Then you will get a dragaia
Then just keep on using last bite
But you have to be careful with the seconds, because if the last dragaia on the other team gets a turn, it’s just going to use last bite, and it’s never going to stop, so I recommend skipping some turns on the second to last dragaia, and kill it when the last dragaia attacks
I had a lot of trouble on the third challenge, the other two were easy

Any idea how to beat the mechaviathans with these mons?
I get blasted back to the stoneage every time 
Sorry, I don’t know the names of all the mons yet, I’m new. This is what I have figured out so far but I haven’t beaten the second one. Get one turn away from killing the last 4 with panda megablast but get killed.
Start by skipping with the light healer, then protect with camel, then life flip with the skipped healer and camel will be at full health and they will take it out. Life flip all back with your panda. Then I know you want to use your insect to sleep all so you can get to 400 secs to blast them, not sure what to do in between. Keep getting one turn away.
You have to keep the camel alive by sharing hp, flipping them and doing that until you can use sleep bomb. Then use dream eater on the fire one and purify with the camel, then keep purifying and sharing hp until u can use the megabomb with the panda

Yeah got that to work, thanks! Camel should be alive at the end. Start by hp sharing and not life flip or it will not work. Took me a bit to get it worked out and the one time one mon used their 400 sec blast before mine was ready. Only moves beside skip turn used were hp share, life flip, protect, purify, sleep bomb, dreaming and of course the blast.
I think I am close on the 3rd one. Sacrifice stun with Octoboss and Dreadfish. Accelerate team with thunder fox. Sacrifice stun with Raijin. Skip turn with godfeather. They will kill the remaining Thunderfox. From there you last bite your way through with God Feather…problem is picking enemies off in right order…I think some luck may be involved.
