10th Anniversary is here! đŸ”„âœš

I don’t care about mythic monsters lol? Except for completing a collection, they’re useless to me because most of the time I only use 7 of the 33 awakened mythic monsters I have. If they have a proper anniversary celebration, even if they don’t give out mythics, it won’t matter because the new content is the most exciting thing.

Well, to begin with, you would need special events for each birthday, why not two or three depending on what you can do and what you have available?

  • A quiz event would be great. In this quiz, we could have different questions about the main offline storyline , find the name of a monster using clues about its moveset/find the name of a skill/etc. You can even ask questions about the skills of certain monsters that have been nerfed. so that we can try to find then

  • A puzzle event (like the old Puzzle Arena) but much more difficult and with certain conditions. For example, you can give two or three puzzles Each puzzle can only be completed a certain number of times using a given tactic (for example, someone completes puzzle #1 using token lock+ in combination with Chimunka and he shares this tactic and that others players using this tactic, and after, for example, 100 uses, the server blocks this tactic for this puzzle (a bit like when certain things are blocked in pvp rules). This will definitely stimulate the players and it will be something different from simply using the same things over and over again.

  • And finally, a classic event like those found in online story events, but for anniversaries

But well, I don’t have much hope lol. How many times have you asked for ideas you liked but that haven’t been implemented yet (x10 hatching with rare gems, the (The ability to give a specific quantity of potions or training fruits instead of clicking repeatedly, with each click taking forever due to server connection issues.)

We haven’t had quality-of-life improvements in a long time. It already has what I mentioned earlier with rare items and fruits/potions, along with other small things It would be interesting if
A small idle mode for low-level link missions, or even though it’s auto-battle, you still have to check each time to start a new battle. It would be interesting It continues up to a certain level, and then at the end, you just collect the rewards. New support for PvP, etc. There’s so much to do, lol.

I totally agree with this.. We need more story events and more pve content. I started playing this game coz I thought it’s like a PokĂ©mon game wherein you hunt monster. I loved it when I’m starting only to find out that the best monsters would be hatched. If you want ideas I’ll give some..

  1. Element tower- in this tower only same element monsters can be used per tower fire, water, earth etc. In this way we can use those link teams and other epic monsters. You receive reward every 5 or 10 floors. No time limit for this.. Just enter if you feel like it or if ur collection is strong enough to defeat that floor.
  2. Guild/ guild boss everyone loves clan or guild. There are guild boss you need to defeat to proceed to higher tier boss. There are plathora of activities you can have with this.
  3. World boss ranking dmg based on players dmg

What abt just a good community goal event mixed with a new kind of anniv special event or just the whales treasure

With the goal being kill the ‘X’ featured y number of times for different milestone rewards and eventually the monster itself based on a global score of that.
This should at least give the community something to grind at during anniv together.. even rush for it together to unlock it faster.

Yeah honestly the guild or clan idea alone will bring a lot of new content and it’s something that the community have wanted for years , a bunch of players are in a clan already without even being featured ingame , anyway this subject have been brought way too many times but just gonna keep getting ignored by devs the same way they do with new story lines suggestions and monster catching PokĂ©mon-like mechanics

Clan system or any boss hunting via teamwork would be great event to be introduced.

So basically some gimmicky event that’s a one-time thing future players don’t get to have fun with or (the last one) a few battles that we do in half an hour and read through some dialogue.

I know that’s me being very pessimistic, but honestly I think ideas like this sound great but fall flatter than you’d think in practice.

We got the equivalent that “online story event” with the six trials SEs but I’d argue it’s better because it’s not only permanent content for the game but it also gives us 6 new SEs to play with. The puzzle event with the idea you described sounds overly complicated and an absolute nightmare to design, implement and for people to complete (also trying to make it fun for both experienced players and new players it probably too difficult).

The quiz event sounds genuinely interesting, it’s definitely unique. However, I can see it being spoiled very quickly by the community or otherwise devolve into lots of people just looking up the answers rather than having fun with it. Also, how long would it be? Maybe just a 10 minutes distraction then people come moan on the forum saying “Was this really all we got for the anniversary?!?”.

I think the reality is that people will always feel like what we get isn’t enough, unless we get major new additions to the game (which isn’t realistic to do over and over). A tried and tested thing that everyone will enjoy is getting lots of gems, tickets, etc. and a bunch of anniversary eggs. I came away with 9 more awakened mythics and 33 new monsters in total
pretty crazy stuff that is honestly overwhelming I don’t really know where to start with trying them all out.

Pessimism aside, it’s definitely good for everyone to make suggestions for what could be done in anniversaries or otherwise what could be added to the game. Some of it is unrealistic, but occasionally an idea will make sense and they can actually make it happen. Knowing what other games do is great for inspiration.

The thing about QOL improvements and basically everything that gets changed in updates is it’s very easy to forget about them if they didn’t directly affect you. I track every game update and note the extra stuff I notice which isn’t written in the official notes. Basically every other update has QOL improvements in it (depending on your exact definition).

Speaking of which
the game update we got alongside the anniversary is HUGE. It’s barely been discussed because it’s been buried by all the anniversary stuff going on but seriously it’s one of the great things about this anniversary alongside all the free stuff and eggs we got.

We basically have this with the Whale’s Treasure event, which is probably the community’s favourite event. We similarly have one for monster types
 monster bond quest (MBQ).

MBQ is pretty much the eternal PvE content we’ve got. It’s a good source of gems, lasts forever, gives player icons, shiny effects / special name colour and gives HP ores. For me, it satisfies my PvE itch. I think if they brought out eternal content then they’d be competing with each other, which wouldn’t be good.

However, I do like the idea of eternal PvE content which you have limited entries to / there is a hard cap that increases with time. Maybe they could do something like that in the future. For example, an “Element Tower” like you say but it opens with 50 levels unlocked and each week 1 new level is added to each element (spread over Mon-Sat across the elements). It would not cost tickets to enter, so purely a case of how far can you get.

Thanks for the kind words, I appreciate it. Please also show that same kindness to the developers and support. Of all the games I’ve been involved in, this game has some of the best respect, appreciation and engagement with the community. VKC is a great asset for us and he tries his best.

Thank you for your feed back.. Yup whales treasure is somewhat similar to element towers.. Though I’m thinking of an eternal pve that is begginer friendly and the rewards would be rare eggs per tower level. I know the feeling of having limited monsters when your starting and having rare eggs gives players the excitement of pulling at least one’s a day or once every other day. The BQ for me is not that appealing for new players alike. I do that only for daily quests coz it’s a lot of ticket for new players. But like what you said in ur guides it’s an endgame type of pve content. Nevertheless the rewards should be increased for its difficulty and requirements for 80 to 120 levels. Well anyways I want to thank you KD for all the guides you wrote.. It’s really a big help especially when I’m still starting.. Even now I’m still using your guides. =)

Thank you for the feedback, everyone!

We’re planning to remove the outdated Gold and Silver Keys so that players can farm ingredients more efficiently.

These keys might be reused in the future for a new ingredient farming section featured rarer ingredients but nothing is confirmed yet.

We actually have an idea: we could start adding some super old Super Epics to the Monster Hunt area, similar to the new Six Trials EX event. This could include those from specific series like F.D., P.G., E.D., and so on.

Just a thought for now. What do you think?

It’s a good start adding more events and the possibility of getting mons without hatching sounds great , through the years the game has become just hatching and PvP with only a couple good Pve events , this is a step into the right direction, + good events + good rewards = more time the players are gonna stay online not just login in for daily rewards

Just gonna post it here, a huge W for the community that we are now getting covered banners, lets hope in future that also in-game gets an option to toggle on skins so we dont have to use first form

Your best post of all time!

All the ideas raised by @Mr.X are great, but among all highlight Clan System and I would also like to add the time reduction when farming silver, since we constantly have to walk down the corridor without any sense and we already know the corridor of the silver mines for God’s sake should implement something that takes you directly to pve.

Given the number of SEs that exist now, I think this would be really good. I imagine it’s particularly difficult for new players to pick up all the monsters in a set like the P.G.s, etc.

Ingredients, fruit and silver are also in a shortage for new players I think. What would be brilliant is if after doing a battle to obtain the monster you’d unlock a one-time battle for getting the ingredients (etc?) to evolve it. This way it encourages players to get and evolve these particular SEs.

Unpopular opinion: I like the idea of opening dungeons with gold and silver keys but I’m happy that soon we’ll get a chance to farm ingredients in a more convenient way.

So.. here is my idea:

  • Add the gold and silver keys as ingredient monsters (just like pyramids, coins or harps);
  • Include them as a potential reward on daily friendly chests;
  • Add a new event (similar to the mines) with two difficulties: silver and gold, where it will be possible to enter only with those ingredient monsters. Both of the dungeons will include battles based on our hero rank. Inside the silver one, the battles will have the same difficulty as the bond quests, and limited to 180. Inside the gold one, the battles will have the same difficulty as the ultimate challenge. For example, someone with hero rank 300 will face monsters with death immunity etc.
  • At the end of the dungeon we’ll get a chest with random rare items (including keys on the gold one), experience points, ores and huge amounts of mĂžney.

Hmm. That’s literally the point of a limited-time event on each anniversary. It’s like that in every other game, and I don’t see why it would be a bad thing.

Once again, a special event cannot be categorized in the same way as a regular event. The six-trial event is a regular event.

At first glance, yes. But it’s up to the developer to know if they can do it or not, but that’s not the point at all; I’m just trying to offer some suggestions. It’s the same when I ask for buffs; I don’t necessarily want things done exactly as I proposed, but just to offer ideas. They can do what they want as long as that they do something

We can’t control how people act; if they see an easy way out, most will take it, but that doesn’t mean it’s not a good idea. But don’t worry, nothing will be done. It’s always amusing to see VKC ask for “ideas” that he doesn’t even care about since he can’t express his thoughts on what he asked for

I think this is the longest killerdog message I’ve ever seen not just from him but the forum as a whole :sob:
