# Speed Percentage

Hi Guys,
was just wondering when you look through the monster details it references the speed at Max but also has a percentage.
what does this percentage refer too?

It refers to how fast the monster gets a turn when enters the battle field. Using pots on the monster affects the speed by increasing it but such changes are not reflected on the monster’s stat page.
You could refer to killerdog’s guide for a more detailed explanation.

Sure always glad to help. But seriously checkout killerdog’s guide on effective ways to use potions as the speed on your front line monsters may ultimately decide the outcome of the battle especially in PvP .

I’ve always wondered if there could be a bar in a different colour continuing from the regular speed bar to show the potted speed. Would be good to get a visual

Yeah that will help a lot as you will know hot to properly pot your monsters to arrange them in the order you want.

Monsters get a turn in 35 + [(100 - speed stat) \* 0.8] seconds.
Say a monster is 99% speed then it gets a turn in 35 + 0.8 = 35.8 seconds. Every 1% of speed lower than that means it will take 0.8 seconds more to get its first turn when it comes onto the field.
Pupupa here will get a turn in 35 + (100-26) \* 0.8 = 35 + 59.2 = 94.2 seconds.
Potion bonus will reduce the overall time it takes by a percentage.
