Monsters with revival skills that instantly revive them on the battlefield can bypass the bomb. Jeanne should always revive, as should Pandora. (They still won’t revive if the killer sacrifices itself to kill them.)
If you’ve seen this happen with any monsters other than Sanguithor, please let me know! This would be super helpful!
If Jeanne has a protect icon and Soulfare applied to her and she’s killed with a Void move, the bomb still detonates (at least that’s what I know). However, is she supposed to revive then?
If I remember correctly, neither the purify or mirror happened. They simply killed my Ammityrant and nothing more happened. Like I said, it was my Christine they obtained via mirror revenge (probably their own Ammityrant). They used exile to kill my Ammityrant (which might have been a buffed one from the opponent) and that’s when no revenge happened.
In terms of when Christine’s exile failed to kill a monster… I cannot remember the details sorry it was too long ago now.
No. Void negates Jeanne’s ability to revive. That’s why in your screenshot example where Sanguithor killed her with Arterial Slash she didn’t revive. Jeanne basically applies a revenge effect to herself which revives her. Kleopatra’s Soul Flare is a very unique case where it’s not treated as a revenge.
Oh, sorry, I wasn’t paying attention. I assumed you meant Jeanne was killed by Sanguithor’s Heart Burst. Revenge-negating skills will always negate revenge effects.
I’ve just confirmed that Jeanne with a bomb implanted does revive if she’s killed by Sanguithor’s Heart Burst.
Dameule should revive. Her revive also brings her back to the battlefield immediately, which also happen before the bomb kills the attacker.
Basically, revival skills that bring monsters back to the battlefield immediately should still revive them, whether they have an implanted bomb or not, unless they’re killed by a revenge-negating skill.
Found it. The issue is that somehow the check icon now also calculates the skill required seconds by taking the monster’s current seconds on the TU bar into account.
So if you give turn to the Taloknight with high TU in your screenshot, the check mark disappears.
i cba reading up to see if anyone else has mentioned it but when i use lurelilys SS i have experienced a bunch of minor disconnects (option to rejoin fight appears quick)
We have found ways to fix other skill bugs players reported here after the latest update except these 2. We simply coudn’t reproduce this bug. Let me know if you see the similar things again!
That’s right, Nephthys now uses the “Disable” ability with a Death Vengeance monster. Before, it only used it if there were at least two monsters, and since it forces its use, it selects Dameule and Stellaurum, killing Aegisdragon and Stellaurum. I assumed the first selection was blocked by Aegisdragon, which is why I didn’t understand why it killed both without Death Vengeance.
Yes it had just entered the battlefield. It was a heavily buffed Lacrimea.
No. I said “my Melusine” to try and say that but I appreciate it’s not super clear. When I first saw an issue with the shield on a buffed Melusine (where it activated after being hurt and extra amount) I thought it was just due to the buff and needing to be below 99.9% HP or something. However, then I saw weirdness with my own Melusine’s shield not appearing as an icon and one it did appear but was pierced through with a random attack that wasn’t piercing.
