# Is it worth it to ultra evolve a starter a second time.

Do you guys know if it’s worth it to ultra evolve your starter monster a second time. I’m pretty close to being able to do it but it costs some pretty good monsters and I want to know if it’s worth it.

Yes monsters such as Kong and galv become a lot stronger after evolving

Water is garbage so you should do the thunder or earth. The fire one is only good in pvp

Two things:
1. Thunder first
2. Get it to +9 with epic bonus potions before you ultra evolve it
The thunder one is awesome, you won’t regret it. If you don’t get it to +9 first then it will instead take super epic potions. I made the mistake and had to create another later on that was +9.
Although, in order to get Chronox into the third form you’ll need to sacrifice each starter in their 5 star form. So in total you need:
1 of each starter at +9 in 5\* form
1 of each starter in 5\* form to evolve chronox into 6\*
1 of each start in 4\* form?
For each starter into 5\* you need all four starters. So in total you need to get each starter 8 times, 9 if you want their 4\* form too.
Just giving you all the info so you know what you’re doing. If you don’t have the epic bonus potions then go ahead and make the thunder starter a 5\*. You can later use it to turn Chronox into a legendary and your second thunder starter can be the one which is +9.

These monsters have been altered since 12 months ago (when this thread discussed them). They had all their “hit all” moves upgraded to assisted. Also, the water and earth starters had their moves changed. The earth one lost survivor and gained retribution (typically better) while the water one gained a damage buff to energy burst, lowered TU on the skills, healing from energy charge and added slayerbane (instead of lifeflip which was no longer needed).
All of the starters are now great, you’ll find them all useful 🙂
