- Doesn’t matter if you specifically get it. The population of the game will end up hatching it. At which point the teams will have to fall out of favor whether you have drax or not.

Anyway the AP teams aren’t a problem to deal with. Just annoyingly cheesy. I can do just fine without Drax.

Isn’t it worse if only the top rank players get it? Why make the gap even larger between top and middle ranks? I thought the healthiest thing for this game is to have more competition. The only thing having exclusive rank reward monsters does is widen the gap and stifle competition

Honestly guys. It’s not a super OP monster and I’m not even sure I would have it in my team if I had one. It won’t fit my current team. But having the option is nice.
I’m not obsessed with the idea of getting one. So meh…

Thank you all for the nice dose of drama, it made my morning. Now as for Diamonoid, I feel it should stay as a special reward for the cream of the crop for putting in the effort to reach top 50, and I say this as someone who doesn’t have it.
It’s the internet. What did you expect?

I was just messing with you all since some of you are very reserved about this monster and had contradicting opinions… I couldn’t care less about it ! But someone had to say it !
If I had one, who cares who gets it… I’m not interested in the monster per se but against the idea it needs to be exclusive ! It’s a beautiful monster…

I don’t know of you are resistant to reading. I said it’s not an issue of handling him. I beat top players using it even with dolphin. That’s not the point and I am repeating myself again for yourself . It’s more about his abilities and that it is 1 cost.
All the new rockoids are great choiced to add for 1 cost, and every player got at least 1 of them. They all make a great work and let you unlock more SS.
So everybody got 1 of those to play with. So what if diamond is a bit better? They made a special rewards for the first season and he was the highest reward. Sounds legit.
All other rocks still got great uses. 1 of them has HG and one of them shield, still 2 hits to kill, just not 100% protect (they will still do their job).
He said a bit better. Made my day. I guess aegis is just a bit better as well compared to any other auto protector. Got ya
Aegis, sloth, stag, all of these (and more i forgot) are on the same level. Each has his ups and downs. Also choosing croc, titanmoth, etc over aegis or other AP is not a bad choice and they make a great work.
AP+ doesnt make a monster instantly better then a AP. Its just a plus. They got a whole other moveset beside protecting you know.
How about a stun absorbing rockoid? Call it copperoid @Dev_VKC

Diamonoid is not OP
Diamonoid is a 1 cost aegis wich requires 2 hits to die unless you have excessive force,piercing move or kb on field…im not saying he is OP bronzoid does exact the same thing but AP+ should not be a passive for a common that make aegis looks bad and he is really sad atm probably crying in a corner

Aegis is the most reliable protector and his SS is great on paper too. The problem with him is he is usually 1 shot before he can do anything. There are too many ways to 1 shot him or deal with him: stun->timestrike, poison->poison eater, sleep - >dreamhunt. Chrono killer, time’s up, assassinate, knock back. If Shadowyrm is there he will freely get charge to bloodthirst. Any top pvp team can deal with an aegis in FL. Therefore you’re better off not unlocking the SS.
For the above reasons diamonoid is a better option for pvp. I personally think Aegis could be a bit faster or have the passive : Valiant death: A random enemy monster will be hit by the equivalent of Aegis desperate bite. It will trigger always when Aegis dies. This passive should be merged with hold ground somehow.
