That would be absolutely ridiculous. Itâs nicely balanced at the TU she has. Removing the time restriction from first turn was a huge buff and made Fyrielle go from terrible to genuinely playable. Albionâs similar move getting changed from 200TU to 60TU was a huge mistake and an outlier among all monsters. That mistake shouldnât be copied by other monsters, it should be fixed.
Fyrielle is fine how she is.
I find it ironic how you seem to overrate both making dead weight in the enemy team and removing dead weight from your team. Surely if you think if backbite monsters are so strong then you simply play them and prevent creating dead weight from ever being that powerful. Or is your perspective just that many matches are determined by monsters with these effects and how they line up against each other. In my experience itâs a factor, but not what PvP is all about (which is how you usually talk about it).
The real irony here is that those monsters are not used to kill the deadweight your opponent gave you but your own monsters after they use their own high TU and impactful skill/one time use skill like Nightingale/Leira/Bridalith after one use of shieldbreaker, etc⌠There is a reason every top team runs 2-3 monsters with backbite moves in the mid game and itâs not for anything fair. I wonât be talking about this any further (since everyone have set their minds up) but time will prove my fear right unfortunately. It used to be that when you saw 2-3 backbite monsters in the midgame, it meant they were playing a combo lock team but now every team looks like that.
I know people will do whataboutism about how there are other broken things so everything should be broken but that doesnât help the game at all and it lets us stop discussing future problems that are happening. I like this game for its strategy based decisions, even in this state, the game is A LOT better than it used to be and I still enjoy it very much. I just like to voice my concerns here in a puplic form to see if others also think like me if not, I would like to question it because we need to have this conversation as a community.
I donât disagree. As soon as we started getting backbite-style moves on good monsters I was promoting them for general use in teams and saying they should form a basis for the strongest teams (this was at least 4 years ago). Back then more monsters were played that were what weâd classify today as unreliable and so were prime targets for backstab to smooth out how your team played. Over the years weâve have more reliable monsters come out so the need for backstab monsters never took off as a big thing and the trade-off has always been there between simply using all powerful, reliable monsters vs using backstab monsters to smooth out the team (plus counter token disruption at the same time). When you can have the best of both worlds then obviously thatâs ideal, which is whatâs possible now with some monsters.
The core of a backstab team is to weaken the enemy and maintain oneâs best form. You may seem to dislike backstab teams, but you still donât know how to deal with them. The simplest way is to kill those backstab monsters, so that their team will be like a stuck computer
The backstab teams are total RNG fiesta that if RNG favors them they win automatically
Sleep revenge from this guy and aello can literally setup a line that no monster can break faster than you think and drag the game for so long as they would be killing monsters one by one. Do you think this is a fun experience?
The probability of sleep is unknown, and you can also choose some sleep immune monsters or directly kill backstab monsters. After Avalon is weakened, no one can easily set up a team on the front line
Mr. X, you shouldnât always hope vkc to weaken others and strengthen yourself. This is completely unrealistic. Being good at yourself is always the best
In the past, almost everyone in the team you created was imitating, but now you seem to have changed into a different person
I dont weaken other teams in fact if you see my posts majority of them is to buff old monsters so that they can be played in todays game and act as counters for broken teams. I much prefer buffs over nerfs.
I always stood for a compensation system to allow better balancing to the game, because without it real balancing can never be achieved, broken things will be released and nerfs will happen and players will lose value and this cycle continues
Back to this team why i hate it is because it relies heavily on the RNG if the sleep works you win the game simply by killing your own monsters which is not how a interaction game should be, and its not like its slow or needs building up it can simply happen by a 64 speed monster killing a SE and having entrance from the mythic as further assurance and slowing down the opponent while you setup the team
As for me going towards rank 1 like i used to am not simply in the same position i was back than. Many things changed in my life and i simply dont have the time, furthermore the current pvp system currently favors regions which unfortunately doesnt favor mine why bother when you know the game puts you at a disadvantage
Hahaha, before Avalon was weakened,
@Coltraz
Called this team was like mathematical calculation, and sleep was not a big problem. Avalonâs weakening made the team not so heavy. I think what opponents really dislike is being controlled without any countermeasures, being controlled until Bastiaâs team completely controls the situation
We got a meme tho
